Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ cups De Molen [Self Rising flour]
  • 7 tablespoons  white sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 6 different colors of food coloring
  • 4 cups whipped cream
  • 1 ⅓ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla essence

Preparation:

  1. Mix flour, white sugar, eggs, milk and melted butter together and divide the mixture into 6 bowls.
  2. Add 1 color of the food coloring to each batter.
  3. Heat a pan over medium-low fire and fry the crêpes one at a time. Use a ladle to scoop the batter in the pan. Turn them over when the edges are dry and then cook the other side for another ten seconds. Let cool completely.
  4. Beat the whipped cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla in a bowl. Then stack the crêpes one by one in color order with some whipped cream on each layer.
  5. Add a layer of whipped cream on top and around the crepes. Smooth everything out so that it forms a round crêpe cake.
