Ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups De Molen [Self Rising flour]
- 7 tablespoons white sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 cups of milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 6 different colors of food coloring
- 4 cups whipped cream
- 1 ⅓ cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons vanilla essence
Preparation:
- Mix flour, white sugar, eggs, milk and melted butter together and divide the mixture into 6 bowls.
- Add 1 color of the food coloring to each batter.
- Heat a pan over medium-low fire and fry the crêpes one at a time. Use a ladle to scoop the batter in the pan. Turn them over when the edges are dry and then cook the other side for another ten seconds. Let cool completely.
- Beat the whipped cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla in a bowl. Then stack the crêpes one by one in color order with some whipped cream on each layer.
- Add a layer of whipped cream on top and around the crepes. Smooth everything out so that it forms a round crêpe cake.
