Ingredients:

Dough:

  • 1 ½ cup De Molen [All Purpose Flour]
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup lukewarm water

Filling:

  • 500 gram TOK minced chicken
  • ½ onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • ½ cup leek
  • ½ teaspoon MSG
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ginger powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dried cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon Chinese 5 spices
  • 2 Maggie Chicken Powder Cubes

Preparation:

  1. Make your filling by adding the minced meat and the filling ingredients into a bowl and mix.
  2. Add De Molen flour, salt, and water together into another bowl.
  3. Knead the crumbly mixture for about 10 until an elastic dough ball is created.
  4. Cover with a kitchen towel and let rest for 15 min.
  5. Make a hole in your dough ball by pressing in the middle. Form a ring and make sure it is the same thickness all over. Cut the ring into 2 halves and divide into equal balls. Roll each ball into a thin round sheet.
  6. Place a sheet in the palm of your hand. Spoon about a tablespoon of the filling into the center and moisten the edges.
  7. Fold the sheet in half and close the top by folding back and folding a piece in half.
  8. Add 1 tablespoon of oil to a heated pan and fry the dumplings until golden brown.
  9. Then add 2 tablespoons of water and cover the pan with a lid.
  10. Let steam until water evaporates.
  11. Then carefully remove them from the pan and serve.
