Ingredients:
- 3⅓ cups De Molen [All Purpose Flour]
- 1 ½ cup warm water
- 2¼ tablespoons yeast
- pinch of salt
Sauce:
- 2 onions
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 3 cups peeled tomatoes
- salt and black pepper to taste
Choice of toppings:
- Chicken (in the video)
- Cheese (in the video)
- Pineapple
- Mushrooms
- Olives
- Pepperoni
- Paprika
Preparation:
Sauce:
- Blend the peeled tomatoes for 2-5 min.
- Cut the onions and garlic into small pieces.
- Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato puree, pieces of onions and pieces of garlic in a saucepan.
- Boil the mix for 15-20 min. on low heat and then let it cool down.
Dough:
- Put the yeast in the warm water and let it activate for 2-5 min.
- Add a pinch of salt to De Molen flour.
- Add the yeast after activation to the flour and mix until a firm dough is formed.
- Put this on your floured work surface and then knead the dough for 6-8 min. until it is smooth.
- Place the dough in a bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Then let it rise for 90 min.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C.
- Divide the dough into 3 balls and roll them out into proud pizza forms one at a time.
- Add the sauce, then the chicken and/or other toppings of your choice. Finally sprinkle the cheese over the top.
- Place the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 min.
