Ingredients:

  • 3⅓ cups De Molen [All Purpose Flour]
  • 1 ½ cup warm water
  • 2¼ tablespoons yeast
  • pinch of salt

 

Sauce:

  • 2 onions
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 3 cups peeled tomatoes
  • salt and black pepper to taste

 

Choice of toppings:

  • Chicken (in the video)
  • Cheese (in the video)
  • Pineapple
  • Mushrooms
  • Olives
  • Pepperoni
  • Paprika

 

Preparation:

Sauce:

  1. Blend the peeled tomatoes for 2-5 min.
  2. Cut the onions and garlic into small pieces.
  3. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato puree, pieces of onions and pieces of garlic in a saucepan.
  4. Boil the mix for 15-20 min. on low heat and then let it cool down.

 

Dough:

  1. Put the yeast in the warm water and let it activate for 2-5 min.
  2. Add a pinch of salt to De Molen flour.
  3. Add the yeast after activation to the flour and mix until a firm dough is formed.
  4. Put this on your floured work surface and then knead the dough for 6-8 min. until it is smooth.
  5. Place the dough in a bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Then let it rise for 90 min.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C.
  7. Divide the dough into 3 balls and roll them out into proud pizza forms one at a time.
  8. Add the sauce, then the chicken and/or other toppings of your choice. Finally sprinkle the cheese over the top.
  9. Place the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 min.
