Ingredients:
- ¾ cup De Molen [All Purpose Flour]
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- ⅛ teaspoon of salt
- 1 medium banana
- 1 egg
- ½ cup whole milk
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon TP vanilla essence
- 1 liter blueberry, strawberry, pistachio ice cream (or of your choice)
Toppings
- ½ cup sliced strawberries
- Sprinkles
- Chocolate syrup
- Whipped cream
- Maraschino cherries
Preparation
- In a large bowl, mix De Molen flour, sugar, baking powder, cornstarch and salt together.
- Place your banana, egg, milk, melted butter and vanilla in a blender and blend on medium speed until well combined.
- Pour the liquid mixture into the bowl of dry ingredients and stir until combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Lightly smear each side of the Waffle Pan with butter. Preheat the pan on medium heat for 3 min. Add your banana waffle batter and fill everything in. Turn the waffle iron over and cook for 3 minutes.
- Remove the waffle with a fork and gently fold it into a taco shell shape. Let the waffle rest in a place where it will hold its shape (such as a loaf pan or glass) and let cool for at least 10 min. in taco shape. Continue with the remaining batter for the second waffle.
- Fill each waffle with 3 scoops of ice cream and add sliced bananas and sliced strawberries on. Cover with chocolate syrup and whipped cream and then your sprinkles and a maraschino cherry.
