Ingredients:
Dough:
- 1 ½ cup De Molen [All Purpose Flour]
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup lukewarm water
Filling:
- 500 gram TOK minced chicken
- ½ onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- ½ cup leek
- ½ teaspoon MSG
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ginger powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon dried cilantro
- 1 teaspoon Chinese 5 spices
- 2 Maggie Chicken Powder Cubes
Preparation:
- Make your filling by adding the minced meat and the filling ingredients into a bowl and mix.
- Add De Molen flour, salt, and water together into another bowl.
- Knead the crumbly mixture for about 10 until an elastic dough ball is created.
- Cover with a kitchen towel and let rest for 15 min.
- Make a hole in your dough ball by pressing in the middle. Form a ring and make sure it is the same thickness all over. Cut the ring into 2 halves and divide into equal balls. Roll each ball into a thin round sheet.
- Place a sheet in the palm of your hand. Spoon about a tablespoon of the filling into the center and moisten the edges.
- Fold the sheet in half and close the top by folding back and folding a piece in half.
- Add 1 tablespoon of oil to a heated pan and fry the dumplings until golden brown.
- Then add 2 tablespoons of water and cover the pan with a lid.
